The most romantic honeymoon resort in Fiji, Tokoriki Island!

Fiji is colorful in numerous ways. There are 333 islands in Fiji, and each one is a little different from the next.

This is a destination that lives up to all of the hype. White sandy beaches, sparkling aquamarine water, palm trees blowing in the warm breeze…this truly is paradise. Fiji is comprised of multiple islands, all offering something just a little bit different. Go surfing, go snorkeling, go diving, go paddleboarding or go hiking. There are numerous ways to stay active. Or, lounge in a hammock suspended between two palm trees, sipping a tropical drink from a coconut, while watching the sunset. If you are a beach lover, put Fiji high on your list.

After an exciting but somewhat exhausting week-long road trip with the great outdoors of New Zealand, we were looking forward to some rest and relaxation whilst visiting Fiji.

In our search for the ultimate relaxation destination, we came upon one very highly rated retreat: Tokoriki Island. Touted as one of the top destinations, if not the top in Fiji, and also being our honeymoon, it was only fitting that we’d treat ourselves to a bit of luxury since it’s our honeymoon.

Tokoriki Island is part of the stunning Mamanuca group of Fijian islands. It can be reached from Nadi International Airport in just a few minutes by helicopter or seaplane, or an hour by boat.

Tokoriki Island is simply put absolutely breathtaking. From the moment you arrive at the moment you leave, it feels like you’ve found paradise.

We had the pleasure of experiencing the Sheraton Tokoriki Resort & Spa and I can honestly say it blew my mind. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by Fijian singing and a refreshing welcome drink. It’s these little things that make the Sheraton Tokoriki so great. The service and level of attention to each guest is above and beyond, it’s a home away from home.

The breath-taking views of the ocean will greet you each morning when you wake in your own private beachfront bure. Starting the day with a swim in our own plunge pool it was the best.

There are plenty of activities to do on the island. The only activities we decided to do was kayaking, snorkeling, and the Castaway Island tour, the site for the film “Cast Away”.

Visit Sheraton Tokoriki Resort & Spa, winner of TripAdvisor’s 2019 Traveler’s Choice award, and make your trip to the Mamanuca Islands one to remember.
